# Install oo CLI

Install oo CLI when an Agent or local workflow can run terminal commands.

## macOS and Linux

Review the downloaded script before running it. If your organization publishes an approved checksum or package mirror, verify against that source as well.

## Windows PowerShell

Invoke-WebRequest https://cli.oomol.com/install.ps1 -OutFile $installer
Get-Content $installer
& $installer
oo --version
oo login
```

Review the downloaded script before running it. Follow your organization's package and signature verification policy when one is available.

`oo login` opens the OOMOL sign-in flow. Complete it in the browser, then return to the terminal or Agent session.

## Verify the connection

Ask the Agent to inspect the available OOMOL tools or start with a read-only task against one connected App. If the client cannot run terminal commands, use [OOMOL MCP](/docs/agents/mcp/).
