# Create a Miro App and Connect OOMOL

Open [OOMOL App Connections](https://console.oomol.com/connections), find the app, and choose **Add account**. Follow these steps when asked to provide your own app credentials. You will need an account that can create or manage the app on the provider’s website; ask your administrator for help if you cannot access those settings.

## 1. Create or open the app

1. Sign in to [Miro](https://miro.com/app/settings/user-profile/apps).
2. In Miro, open **Settings > Your apps** and choose **Create new app**. Name the app and select its developer team.

## 2. Set the callback URL

In the account form, copy the full **Redirect URI**. If an authentication method is shown, choose OAuth2. Paste it into **Redirect URI for OAuth2.0** in the provider’s app settings and save. Keep the address unchanged, including its path and trailing slash.

## 3. Save the credentials

In the app permissions, select **boards:read** to view boards and **boards:write** to create or edit board content. Copy the credentials from **App Credentials**.

In OOMOL’s OAuth client configuration, paste **Client ID** into **Client ID** and **Client secret** into **Client Secret**, then save.

## 4. Connect your account

1. In OOMOL, open the connection settings and continue with OAuth2.
2. On the Miro authorization page, select the team containing your boards, then choose **Install & authorize**.
3. Return to OOMOL and confirm that the account is connected. List your Miro boards and check for a board you can access in the selected team.

## If you cannot connect

If installation is blocked, ask the team administrator to approve the app. If a board is missing, check that it belongs to the selected team and is shared with your account.
