# OOMOL の概要

OOMOL は、AI Agents と product backends が接続済みの Apps を利用するための共通手段を提供します。user が account を一度認証すると、Agent、Skill、backend は account password や provider の生の token を受け取らずに、許可されたツールを呼び出せます。

次の要件がある場合に OOMOL を使用します。

- Agent から Gmail、GitHub、Notion、Slack などの Apps のツールにアクセスする。
- 同じ connected Apps を対応する Agents 間で再利用する。
- 再利用可能な Agent instructions を Skills としてまとめる。
- user-authorized App integrations を product backend に追加する。
- open-source Connector runtime を自分の環境で実行する。

## tool call の仕組み

1. user が App を接続し、provider permissions を承認します。
2. OOMOL が、選択された hosted または self-hosted runtime 内に得られた credential を保存します。
3. Agent、Skill、backend が action とその input schema を検出します。
4. caller が connected account を選択し、action input を送信します。
5. Connector runtime が provider を呼び出して result を返します。

caller が扱うのは action IDs、schemas、connection labels、results です。provider passwords と生の OAuth tokens は credential boundary 内に保持されます。

### Apps

App は、OOMOL から利用できる第三者 service または built-in service を表します。App を接続すると、ツールが使用できる authorized connection が作成されます。

### Agents と oo CLI

`oo` は、terminal にアクセスできる Agents が使用する command-line entry point です。インストールページには、Codex、ChatGPT、Claude Code、その他の Agents、MCP clients の設定手順があります。

### Skills

### Connector

Connector は connection と execution の layer です。accounts を認証し、credentials を保存し、action schemas を公開して provider calls を実行します。[hosted Connector](/ja/docs/connector/)、[SaaS integration](/ja/docs/saas/)、[OpenConnector](/ja/docs/openconnector/)のいずれかから始めてください。

## credentials を boundary 内に保持する

boundary は選択する path によって異なります。

- OOMOL hosting は、hosted Agent と SDK calls の credentials を保存して更新します。
- Connector SaaS project は、project credentials と end-user connections を分離します。
- self-hosted OpenConnector deployment は、自分が運用する infrastructure に credentials と execution records を保存します。

account を接続する前に scopes を確認し、タスクに必要な actions だけを公開し、API keys を browser code、prompts、repositories に置かないでください。
