Review dataset fields

Determine whether a dataset has the fields needed for your analysis.

/oo Bright Data: List Bright Data datasets and find [dataset name or ID]. Read its field metadata and compare it with my required fields: [list]. Make a field checklist with descriptions present in the metadata, and flag requirements that are missing or unclear.

Prepare a snapshot handoff note

Summarize an existing snapshot and its delivery part count.

/oo Bright Data: Inspect Bright Data snapshot [snapshot ID]. Summarize its metadata and obtain the part count for format [json/csv] with compression [choice]. Prepare a handoff note identifying the snapshot, any recorded readiness information and the part count. Do not claim the records were downloaded.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I check whether a dataset fits my research?

Provide the fields and scope you need. The assistant can compare them with the dataset’s field metadata, but field definitions do not verify the quality of individual records.

Does the part count include the data itself?

No. It describes the number of parts for the chosen delivery settings. This connection does not fetch the contents of those parts.

Can it start a new collection?

The included operations inspect existing datasets, views and snapshots. Starting a collection or generating a snapshot is not included.
