Frequently Asked Questions

Does a high score prove the IP attacked my system?

No. The score and reports describe AbuseIPDB evidence. Compare it with your logs and incident context before drawing a conclusion.

Can I choose how far back reports are checked?

Yes. IP and network checks accept a look-back period from 1 to 365 days. State the period relevant to your investigation.

Can AI block addresses after a check?

These operations retrieve reputation data. They do not change firewall rules or block traffic; a blacklist result can be reviewed separately.
