Frequently Asked Questions

Can I save plain text as a new file?

Yes. Provide the destination folder, filename, and text. Uploads commit immediately; creating a file with an existing name defaults to renaming the new file.

What does a download provide?

A downloaded file is stored in connector transit storage. It is not extracted document text; supported conversion formats can be requested separately.

Does updating file content append to the document?

It replaces the existing file content. Supply the complete intended content when requesting that operation.
