No. Availability queries read dates and times. A booking is created only when you explicitly ask to create an appointment.

What should I include in a booking request?

Include appointment type, calendar, date and time, timezone, client name, and any required intake answers. Supply email and notification preferences where needed.

Can I update contact details without changing the time?

Yes. Appointment updates handle client details and notes; rescheduling is a separate operation. Specify the appointment ID and the fields to change.
