Try a Censys Task

Copy a prompt into your agent with the oo Skill installed. Add your page links and source notes before running it.

oo Skill Censys

Prepare an observed asset brief

Summarize a known host and web property from recorded observations.

/oo Censys: Read Censys host [host ID] and web property [hostname:port] at [timestamp, or latest]. Summarize observed services, metadata and other details actually present, preserving observation times. Flag gaps and questions for the asset owner without assuming a vulnerability or current exploitability.

Review a known certificate

Explain the certificate details available under a supplied identifier.

/oo Censys: Read Censys certificate [certificate ID]. Summarize names, issuer, validity dates and other fields when present. Preserve exact dates and identifiers, and list verification questions where the record is incomplete. Do not treat this as a live TLS connection check.

Censys Tools

Read a known host, certificate or web property from Censys Global Data. Host and web-property lookups can request a historical timestamp, helping compare observed records without running a new scan.

Frequently Asked Questions

What format does a web property identifier use?

Use hostname:port, such as example.com:443, without a URL scheme or path.

Can I compare an asset over time?

For a known host or web property, request the relevant timestamps and compare fields present in both observations. Distinguish unavailable historical data from an actual change.

Can it search for assets or start a scan?

This connection looks up known asset identifiers. Broad searches, active scans and continuous monitoring are not included.
