Build a Research Brief

/oo Exa: Use Exa to search for [research question] within [date range], retrieve relevant page text, and prepare a brief with source URLs, supported findings, and open questions.

Compare Specific Sources

Retrieve content from the URLs you provide so AI can compare claims and identify disagreements.

/oo Exa: Retrieve the content of these URLs with Exa: [URLs]. Compare what they say about [question], cite each source, and flag disagreements or missing evidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an Exa API key?

Yes. This Exa integration connects with your own API key; OAuth is not supported.

Can I compare pages without searching first?

Yes. Provide the URLs and ask for content retrieval. AI can compare the text, highlights, or summaries returned by Exa.

Will retrieved content always be freshly crawled?

Not necessarily. Content requests support cache-age controls, including requesting a live crawl. Retrieval can fail or return limited content, so check the returned content and status information.

Can research results include source citations?

Yes. Ask for source URLs alongside the research summary. Exa search results include URLs, and the answer operation returns source citations that you can use to check the evidence.
