Is this my personal Telegram login?
The connection uses a bot token, not a personal account session.
Can the bot read my personal chat history?
This is a bot-token connection, not your personal Telegram session. It can receive bot updates where permitted, but it does not provide arbitrary personal chat history.
What do I need to send a poll?
Provide a chat ID, the question, and answer choices. Specify whether answers should be anonymous and whether multiple choices are allowed. The bot must be allowed to send messages in that chat.
