Connect monday.com to OOMOL

This guide shows how to connect your monday.com account to OOMOL with OAuth, then use that connection from an agent or oo-cli to create monday.com content.

Prerequisites

  • You can sign in to OOMOL Console.
  • You can sign in to the monday.com workspace that you want to connect.
  • Your monday.com account has permission to authorize apps for that workspace.

Video walkthrough

Connect monday.com in OOMOL Console

Open OOMOL Console, then go to App Connections. Search for Monday.

In the Monday connection card, click Set Up. OOMOL opens the connection panel and shows the supported methods. Choose OAuth, then click Connect.

Authorize OOMOL in monday.com

OOMOL opens a monday.com authorization window. Sign in to the correct monday.com workspace if the browser asks you to sign in.

Review the permissions shown on the authorization page, then click Authorize. Monday redirects back to OOMOL after the authorization finishes.

When the connection succeeds, OOMOL Console shows the Monday connection as Connected. The connection detail panel also shows the connected account, account ID, and granted scopes.

Use the Monday connection from an agent

After OAuth succeeds, agents and oo-cli can use the monday.com connector without asking you for a Monday API key.

In Codex, Claude Code, or another supported terminal agent, ask the agent to use the OOMOL Monday connector. For example:

Use my monday.com connection to create a new private board named "oo-test",
then create an item named "test-task" on that board.

The agent can inspect the available Monday connector actions, run the needed actions, and report the result. In the video, the agent creates a private monday.com board named oo-test, then creates an item named test-task.

Verify the result in monday.com

Open monday.com and switch to the workspace you authorized. Look for the board or item that the agent created.

For the example above, monday.com should show:

  • a board named oo-test
  • an item named test-task inside that board

Reconnect or disconnect

To refresh the OAuth connection, return to OOMOL Console, open the Monday connection panel, and click Reconnect.

To remove OOMOL's access to your monday.com account, open the same panel and click Disconnect.
