Quickstart

OOMOL makes your connected Apps available to Codex, ChatGPT, Claude Code, and other AI Agents. The Agent calls approved tools without receiving account passwords or raw provider OAuth tokens.

This page explains the available methods and how to choose. OOMOL Console keeps the installation choices for each Agent in one place.

Connection methods

OOMOL primarily exposes tools to Agents in two ways:

Method	Best for
`oo` CLI	Agents that can run terminal commands, including common coding agents
MCP	Agents or MCP clients that support an HTTP MCP server

Installation commands and configuration locations vary by Agent. Console lists the currently supported Agents and shows the relevant installation or connection steps.

On the installation page:

Choose the Agent you use, or select CLI / MCP directly.
Follow the displayed steps to install and sign in to OOMOL.
Connect the App you want to use.
Return to the Agent and verify that it can discover the tools.

After installation

Start with a small read-only task:

Use one of my connected Apps for a read-only task. Before calling it, tell me which connection, tool, and parameters you will use.

A successful result confirms that the Agent can discover tools, select a connection, and call the provider. Before sending messages, changing data, or deleting content, confirm the target and impact again.
